An ongoing study is based in the region where the air is dry, and rainfall is scarce, heat is abundant with soaring temperatures and strong-willed beings. The communities and their surroundings of the Thar have shown resilience, innovating ways to grow food, collect water and build using the limited palette available. 

The study involves researching and documenting the working of the different tiers that make life thrive in the region, studying the ecosystem as a whole rather than multiple subjects in isolation.
